
The German Shorthaired Pointer has earned the title of all-purpose dog. He has a keen nose and high intelligence. A versatile hunter and gun dog, he performs highly in the field and water. He is also very alert and faithful and great as a family pet and house dog. This is a medium sized dog.
It is said he descended from the German Bird Dog and mixed with the Spanish Pointer, English Foxhound, and local German tracking hounds.

25 inches.
Weight - 55 to 70 pounds.
Coat
Types:
short, solid liver or any combination of liver and white,
such as liver and
white ticked,
liver spotted and white ticked, or liver roan.
Sheds a little. No trimming.
Stud service available. Puppies available.
